Weekly Words 1-17-10

We've spent a fun few days in Michigan visiting, and have arrived home to the hustle and bustle of "catch-up" with chores, church commitments, and work commitments.  I am so glad that Leo and I decided to do our couple's devotions as we drove the 6+ hours home, because it was a great reminder for us to invest loving words, even though we are both a bit pooped.

So that is my challenge for this week is to focus on this verse daily, and make extra efforts to love those I come into contact with from dear friends and family to crabby customers.

Don't forget that each week, my graphic is a 3"x5" printable.

Morning Devotions

For Lent season, I got up at 5:30 and read a chapter of the Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. Now this is my second time through this book, and I must say, I enjoyed even more than the first time through. If you need help in focusing your spiritual efforts, this book is most helpful.

Now that I am in the habit of my early morning read, I would like to pick another book to read. Any suggestions. I do have many on my bookshelf, but I am always looking for more. I may start on a study of the book of Acts.
