We've been overly busy with the holidays and a "surprise" marriage of our one and only daughter.
Yes, I did say surprise. She is still planning a big shindig for August 1, 2009; but they got married on December 19 in a small chapel wedding ceremony. Why? Because the company she works for is discontinuing health care benefits, and her new husband has good benefits that family can be included in. So not only have we been doing the usual Christmas and Holiday parties, but we had a little wedding celebration as well.
