Weekly Words 1-24-10 Spiritual Sundays

For the past few weeks, I have been sharing my weekly  Bible verse with a group of bloggers that participate in Spiritual Sundays Blogging, and I have enjoyed their visits very much.

This week found my very busy and getting a bit overwhelmed with commitments.  Cooking for a funeral seemed to put my mood over the edge and once again I almost let the joy of serving get sucked right out of the day.  I began my morning Bible study and God spoke to me almost immediately.  Even though I am studying in the book of Ruth for the next few weeks, a reference passage in the study I am doing led me to Galatians 6:9.  Thank you God for such a gentle reminder!

Gal 6:9  Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

This week I will meditate on this verse and I will not let Satan steal my joy when I am serving my Lord!!

Isn't it cool how the Holy Spirit leads us just to the scripture we need to hear? :) Have a great week, dear sister in Christ!

Satin tries so hard to still our joy in doing good things for the Lord. I will keep you in my prayers.
Blessings,
